Class 58 Models | N’ Gauge
Class 58 models in ‘N’ gauge
Not quite the smallest of the small, ‘N’ gauge certainly allows a lot of layout to be packed into a small space. The down side however is that producing a 1:152 detailed replica of locomotive and rolling stock takes extreme attention-to-detail, a VERY steady hand and loads of patience!

Four more images of the Dapol model have been released by Dapol. These show the complete loco from both sides as well as from the front and a birds-eye view looking at the loco from above.

Dapol aren’t the only N-gauge model producers who are issuing a Class 58. In early 2008, CJM Models, who specialise in hand-built ‘N’ gauge models, announced that they are planning on releasing a miniature Class 58 in two versions and four different liveries! Conflicting information on their release suggests June 2009 in the body of their website but the advers show ‘due 2008’, but the models, which incorporate an entirely new ‘Saturn’ chassis, look to be an excellent addition to any ‘N’ gauge industrial layout, just as much as their ‘OO’ counterparts. The Class 58 Locomotive Group, who are already assisting CJM Models to ensure the model is of the highest accuracy, look forward to bringing you updates on the models as-and-when the news occurs.
